Ordered well ahead of time, 11/21 to be delivered 12/2. Basket was not delivered when requested, still in transit for a 12/5 delivery. Contacted customer service chat on-line & the rep shipped another basket that morning to be sent UPS Next Day Air (still some hope for the party). Nope - missed again - still in transit to be delivered on 12/5! This is not the first time this has happened to me either. Last year's Christmas order had the same story. Great product, just don't count on delivery when you need it. I'm very disappointed. BTW, to get overnight delivery - they say it takes 2 days! Comments about Bon Appetit: I have ordered from this website a few other times for different occassions. On this particular occassion my best friend from childhood had a death in her immediate family, and I wanted to send her something to try and cheer her up. I thought of flowers first, but decided that a basket with goodies would be better, and can be useful with family coming in and out during this time, she could find a variety of goodies in this basket to serve to her guests. This particular basket was the deal of the day, plus I had a catalogue coupon discount, and was also was a free shipping item, all together I spent under $40.00 for this beautiful basket. I was surprised I could get so many different items in the basket for that price. I was a little skeptical about the appearance of the basket after traveling fro several days to its destination. But I was pleasantly surprised when my girlfriend sent me a picture of the beautiful basket as soon as she received it. She was so happy she started to cry. Her and her family loved it. And I was so happy to see that the basket looked even better when she received it, then it even does on the online picture, and all of the goodies listed were shipped. Comments about Bon Appetit: I spent all day feeling antsy about the package arriving to my mom today... And she never called so by 5:30 PM I called and asked her if she had a package on her porch. And she said "A box?" And she was so excited that I could hear it just through the way she said those two words... then I listened to her open it and she squealed. She had never received a gift basket and she loved it. She won't even open it right now because we're still on the phone and she doesn't know how to use the camera until we are off of the phone. So cute! I'll be returning to this website every time I need to send a special gift. Pros
