Ordered well ahead of time, 11/21 to be delivered 12/2. Basket was not delivered when requested, still in transit for a 12/5 delivery. Contacted customer service chat on-line & the rep shipped another basket that morning to be sent UPS Next Day Air (still some hope for the party). Nope - missed again - still in transit to be delivered on 12/5! This is not the first time this has happened to me either. Last year's Christmas order had the same story. Great product, just don't count on delivery when you need it. I'm very disappointed. BTW, to get overnight delivery - they say it takes 2 days! Comments about Bon Appetit: While the product was beautiful and the gift recipients loved them, the shipping to us was a mess. When I placed the order, I told the customer service rep SPECIFICALLY that I wanted them delivered to the destination NO SOONER than January 19 and they were received at the destination on December 22, so the venue refused them and they delivered them to me at General Mills. So it took extra time and and extra steps to get them picked up and redelivered to where they were supposed to go. That should not have been necessary. Also, I told her that the boxes needed to have General Mills marked on them as the venue had several events that night and they wanted to be sure the right group got them. The rep was a little confused about this, but eventually she understood what I wanted. We were given Wine Country's shipper number so that they would pay for this extra delivery charge as it was their error. So Wine Country was able to redeem themselves by taking responsibility. Pros
