      I sent my friend and her family that had young children the pastel sympathy cookies for a change from the usual flowers. She loved it and said it brought a smile to their faces on a day when they all felt so sad. She also said they tasted as good as they looked.

        this was a sympathy basket for the grandkids being we wanted them to feel someone thought of them when their grandpa died, they were ages 7 and under.

        I wanted to get something different from flowers and fruit as a sympathy gift for my dear friend who's husband died of cancer at a very young age and when I saw this it was perfect! Cookies in the form of flower with two beautiful birds and a sign stating what it was for...perfect! She loved it so much she sent me a pic with the note saying how she loved her happy cookies...so I was very glad that it made her happy on such a sad occasion.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
