1 Large Cauliflower, sliced thick
4-5 Tbsp. Olive Oil
4 Cloves Garlic, chopped
1 Vidalia Sweet Onion, sliced
1 Can Olives, sliced
2 Jars of Pureed Tomato Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste
Ricotta Cheese (or vegan alternative)
1. In a large skillet, brown the cauliflower steaks in about 2 Tbsp. of olive oil. Once browned on both sides, remove from the pan and set aside.
2. In another 2 Tbsp. of olive oil, sauté the garlic and onion together. Add the tomato sauce and stir together.
3. Add the cauliflower steaks back into the pan, add the olives on top, add salt and pepper to taste, and bake at 375°F for 30-35 minutes.
4. Once the cauliflower has finished baking, serve with a large dollop of ricotta cheese and a touch of flake salt. Pair with a delicious red wine and enjoy!
