The smoky flavor and delicious, home-y spices found in this one-of-a-kind stew recipe takes us back to Grandma’s kitchen. With such a simple, easy meal, you’d think there would be compromise on flavor – except it’s coming from Larry’s kitchen, where yummy, feel-good meals happen in less than an hour all the time.

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. Smoked Olive Oil
5-6 Garlic Cloves, diced
Chickpeas
2-3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
1 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika
1 24oz. Can of Crushed Tomatoes
1 Loaf of French Bread
Regular Olive Oil

Directions:
1. In a large stock pot, cook the garlic cloves in the olive oil for about 30 seconds. Add the chickpeas and give them a quick stir, adding the rosemary and paprika next. Once combined, add the crushed tomatoes.

2. Bake in the oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes. While the stew is cooking, slice your French bread on the bias, brush with a little regular olive oil, and toast the crostini slices until just browned.

3. Serve the stew in individual bowls and top with your desired toppings! Larry offers fabulous suggestions for vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike in the video below. Give it a watch for inspiration!
