How-to With Colleen: Cannoli Dip
Colleen is our QUEEN of quick and easy desserts. There have been many times, before parties and events here in Wine Country, where we’ve been able to throw together one of her easy dessert cup recipes or dip recipes at the last minute, and they’re always such a huge hit! We can’t get enough of her flavor combinations and adorable personality, and we think you’ll love this too-easy Cannoli Dip just as much as her many other recipes. Enjoy!
Waffle Bowls or Phyllo Dough Shells
1 C. Ricotta Cheese, full fat
1 8oz. Block of Cream Cheese, softened
1 1⁄4 C. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1⁄2 C. Mini Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips
1. Mix the ricotta cheese, cream cheese and the powdered sugar together in a medium bowl, adding the sugar a little at a time. Then, mix in the vanilla.
2. Use a spatula to fold in the mini chocolate chips, reserving some to top the dip with just before serving. Add to your display bowl and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve.
3. Break the waffle bowls up into pieces and spread on a plate. Alternatively, you can bake the Phyllo dough according to the instructions on the package and pipe the cannoli dip into each shell to serve. Watch Colleen’s video below for some helpful hints on baking, piping, and serving!
