Sales Tax

We will automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MS, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV and WY. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state. We are obligated to collect Provincial tax at the rate in effect for the jurisdiction to which the products are shipped.

The Sale of Alcoholic Beverages

By using this site to purchase wine you are affirming that you and the person receiving any wine shipment from Wine Country Gift Baskets® is 21 years or older. You also agree that any alcohol purchased from Wine Country Gift Baskets® is intended for personal consumption and not for resale. If you do not agree with these terms of use please do not use this site to order wine. If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent your or the recipients age in order to provide alcohol to a person under the age of 21, Wine Country Gift Baskets® will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law. For wine shipments to Canada, you must be 19 years and older (18 years for Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta) to purchase gift baskets containing wine. As well, FedEx cannot leave this package without an adult signature.
