My wife and I tend to give gift baskets to family and friends that live far from us and we've given a few from Wine Country Gift Baskets recently but had never experienced one ourselves until she was out of town on my birthday and she sent me this basket. Frankly I'm now embarrassed that we've been giving something of such marginal quality. Don't get me wrong, it looks great, very nicely packaged and came on time. But the love stops when you start consuming the contents. So far of the wine I've only had the Pinot Noir and it literally seems watered down but I don't drink much Pinot so maybe that is normal for a Pinot. The olive medley is mostly tiny green olives that are 98 percent pit though the dark olives while small do have some substance and too bad there were only about 6 of them vs dozens of the green. The cheese spread I literally threw away due to virtually no flavor and both cracker varieties were similarly bland. Cookies were almost good but had strong artificial taste. Other than the cardboardy vanilla fudge the various chocolate sweets were fine and I'm not a pretzel fan in general so won't comment on the Italian pretzels. I hate giving a negative review amongst so many positive comments and I'd sum it up by saying that the basket delivers on the pizazz that makes receiving such a gift so fun and very few recipients will thank the giver by saying anything but thank you we really loved the gift so naturally there are a lot of positive reviews. But from a substance point of view there isn't much positive to say unless you are really into the shiny metal bucket the food is packaged in.

We got this for my in laws as a Christmas present and they absolutely loved it. The snacks paired really well with the wines and the basket it comes in has a nice design.

A gift for my son. FedEx refused to deliver to correct driveway and left it with the neighbor. My son remarked on how generous the wine bottles were, snacked on the treats Christmas Eve with his girlfriend. They were so pleased with this REGUALAR SIZED gift and not samples of mostly packaging. Will order again from Wine Country.

I had ordered this basket and was dissatisfied with display image size and a real delivered basket size and snack packs. Also, when I ordered customer representative misunderstood my request for all White wine rather than RED. Melanie was very helpful and offered to replace the basket with correct wines. Hopefully, I will receive a replacement. xa69
