Do not be fooled by the product photography done for this product as well as the "Brownie, Cookie, and Cake Sleigh." What my business partners received did not look like anything close to what was pictured on the website. The cookies are not fresh as advertised on the website and they are from Poland. Yes, they are from Poland even though the business address of Wine Country Gift Baskets is in California. I made the mistake of trusting this company with gifting my business partners and I am disappointed and embarrassed by what they received. What a way to ruin Christmas.

I sent this basket to my son who lives in a group home to enjoy with his housemates and staff. Due to pandemic we haven't been able to visit him regularly and wanted to send something to brighten everyone's day, let our son know how much we love & miss him and to thank the amazing staff working so hard to keep everyone safe & healthy. I have received a Wine Country gift basket every year for many years and this was the first time that I felt the pastries were inedible. The cakes and brownies are too moist, almost soggy. The cookies are soft and tasteless. I bake cookies for friends all the time, and all of these pastries taste like the sugar didn't dissolve - there is a granular feel to everything. What happened this year???
